The Seabee and his Queen

Kelly W. already thought he’d won the jackpot when he met his wife, Pat, in Africa in 1989. Kelly was serving as a Navy Seabee while Pat was working at the embassy. But luck has struck again for these two. Playing Keno at their local family-run convenience store, Butler Market South in Bend, Kelly hit the big number, winning a cool $73,449.10!

Both Kelly and Pat agree that the money will go into savings, ensuring that their next 35 years together can be full of fun and adventure in Oregon’s famous state parks. To make sure they can capture all the memories, though, Pat says they will be investing in one new toy: A high-quality camera.
