The first win was a big one! Really big!
Martina’s husband bought her a $10 Crossword Nectar Scratch-it from Mid Valley Market in Hood River, and they decided to play the game together. According to Martina, her husband was the first to realize that their completed words meant they had won $100,000. They were so excited they could hardly believe it! When Martina and her family arrived at the lottery claim center, they still couldn’t believe the prize amount — they came to the counter and asked to verify the win. Yup — it was, in fact, $100k! To celebrate, they were all going out to dinner together. Congrats, Martina!
