Set Sail for the Oregon Coast
A Passion for Local
Oregon’s northern coast boasts some of the best land around for growing food. The climate is temperate, the rain is plentiful, and the soil is world class. Fresh flavors and an adventurous culinary spirit abound. The North Coast Food Trail was born from a simple desire to spread the Pacific Northwest foodie spirit along the coast, to showcase great local food, and delight diners. This partnership between regions of Oregon’s shoreline allows visitors to choose their own culinary adventure through a network of local restaurants, food businesses, and accommodations. It might mean an afternoon at a dairy farm exploring local cheese. Or perhaps a passion for seafood inspires a fishing boat excursion to help with the daily catch. The trail lets hungry travelers find the stops that whet their appetite. In 2019, Oregon Lottery dollars helped fund a Business Oregon grant to further innovate the North Coast Food Trail. This funding helped expand access to food development training, which helps producers get new products into the marketplace. Thanks to the program’s continued development, restaurants and suppliers have realized the Trail is more than just a visitor-facing program. It allows them to learn from each other and experience the stories of their peers along the trail. It’s also allowing producers a better link into local markets for their products. What’s more, the North Coast Food Trail provides economic benefit to the connected communities beyond the food supply industry. Lodging, retail shops, museums, and excursions that are a part of the experience add to the economic vitality of the region. All along the shoreline, the North Coast Food Trail community is excited to invite all of Oregon to their tables. Coos Bay Adventures at OMSI’s Camp Grey
Connecting students with nature is a very good thing. That’s why Oregon voters dedicated Lottery dollars to help support Outdoor School programs. In the case of the Coos Bay School District, this made their outdoor school program available to their community students. In 2016, the OMSI Coastal Discovery Center at Camp Grey opened with the promise to be the largest outdoor science camp in the Oregon. Coos Bay School District Superintendent Bryan Trendell shared, “To send 235 students to Camp Grey, it will cost $44,000. We didn’t know what funding was going to look like.” Lottery funding to more than cover their costs arrived shortly after winter break. With much excitement, Trendell reported, “The great thing is that the total funding will take care of transportation, meals, and the facility. Everything to do with Camp Grey is taken care of!” For the Coos Bay School district, Lottery funding provides their students, their future leaders with a life-enhancing Outdoor School experience. When you play, good things happen for the schools throughout Oregon.

Claim a Prize
The Oregon Lottery attempts to ensure that the remaining ticket numbers for each game are posted correctly on our website. However, posted numbers are unofficial. Top prizes are counted as unclaimed until the prize is claimed by the winner, which could be after the ticket is no longer for sale. Percentage of tickets sold is based on pack inventory at the start of each day. This number will automatically show on the site as 100% sold on the date that the game is scheduled to be no longer for sale. Some tickets may still be available for purchase after this date if the individual retailer still has tickets in stock. Odds displayed on the site are retrieved from the system at a precision level of ten decimal places and converted to the nearest integer in a 1 in n format. Because of this, a small amount of rounding can occur and the sum of prize tier odds on the site might not equal 100%.
