Testing a Flu Vaccine
When the Oregon Lottery was founded in 1984, it was with a single mission, to create a source of revenue to support Oregon’s then-struggling economy. Today several additional voter-approved causes also receive lottery funding, but approximately 26% of Oregon Lottery funds are still allocated for job creation and economic growth across the state. Recently, Portland-based StoneStable, Inc. received a lottery-funded Innovation Grant of $49,000 for flu vaccine testing, helping support Oregon’s economic growth into the future.
