Lucky Past, Lucky Present

An air of celebration filled the Oregon Lottery Prize Payment Center as Micheal T. returned, decades after being an inaugural Oregon Lottery Scratch-it winner back in 1985. That year he won the first ever top prize for a Scratch-it ticket: $5,000 for a Scratch-it titled “Pot of Gold”!

His luck struck again with an amazing $22,000 win on Lucky Lines after having purchased a ticket at Fred Meyer in Wood Village. Beaming, Micheal shared his excitement with fellow players in the lobby, proudly displaying his oversized check.

Micheal only recently took up Lucky Lines; this marks only his fifth ticket purchased. He’s pictured here holding both a replica of the first Scratch-it that kickstarted his winning journey and the check commemorating his latest win on Lucky Lines. We have to wonder what game he will play next!
