When Christine’s stepdad bought her an Oregon’s Game Megabucks ticket, she didn’t want to take it since she regularly buys her own tickets. “He wouldn’t take it back, and he said it was less calories than him buying me a candy bar, so I kept it,” she said. Turns out the gift was worth $1,213.

The ticket was purchased in Sunriver while they were visiting. Christine said she was going to use the money to buy gifts for her older kids to pay the good luck forward!
