On a trip to his local 7-11 in Albany, Shawn saw the festive Holiday Scratch-its behind the counter and asked for one $20 ticket. The merry Under the Mistletoe ticket caught his eye, with its sweet lovebirds and equally sweet $150,000 top prize. He scratched the numbers and immediately revealed a match. He couldn’t believe it – he had won a top prize!
Shawn and his wife Debra came to claim their prize in Salem, feeling lucky and festive. As a Postal Service worker and an Albany School District employee, the couple works hard all year and are beyond excited to have a little fun with their jackpot win. An Alaskan cruise and a stop in Vegas are on the agenda, but the true excitement for the couple is that they will start the new year debt-free! Now that is a happy new year!
