Worth the Wait
Whenever the Powerball jackpot grows extra large, Bryan buys a couple of quick pick tickets and tucks them all away — he scans them at once at the end of the year. On January 3, Bryan checked all of his tickets and one was different than the rest. Instead of saying “Not a Winning Ticket” like his other tickets, when he scanned it, the screen said “See Lottery”. That night, he checked the ticket again. It was then that he realized he had been $50,000 wealthier since the Powerball drawing on December 17, 2025!
The following Monday, Bryan and his girlfriend Gaylene excitedly drove up from Albany to claim the prize. Close to retiring after working as an airport mechanic and refrigeration technician for many years, Bryan plans to pay off his house and wisely invest the rest in CD’s!
