Video Lottery Administrative Rule Change

May 21, 2021

Because the 2020 retailer contract bases commissions on dollars played, we’re updating the Video Lottery weekly sales goal to align with that language. The Oregon Lottery plans to start the rulemaking process to update the administrative rule OAR 177-045-0030 to convert the weekly sales goal to match the current dollars-played commission structure. The notice may be reviewed here.

The proposed amount is $2,667 in dollars played, which is equivalent to the current $200 net weekly sales goal. This change will bring the rule into alignment with the current formula implemented in the 2020 contract.

No action is required on the part of our Video Lottery retailers. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please contact your field sales representative or Retail Contracts.
