Connecting Veterans to Benefits

Oregon Veteran Benefit Expo

By serving their country, our military veterans earn a variety of benefits in civilian life. But connecting vets to the benefits they’ve earned isn’t always easy.

America’s veterans earn a variety of benefits by serving their country. But connecting veterans to those services may be difficult, especially in the more rural corners of Oregon. Recognizing this unique challenge, the ODVA recently hosted a Veterans Expo in Pendleton, connecting providers from the fields of health care, finance, mental health services and more to Eastern Oregon veteran populations.

Sponsored in part by lottery dollars, these annual expos help veterans from all eras and walks of life to learn about and access their full range of benefits.

One thing we hear from veterans year after year with this event is that they’re blown away by all the benefits and resources they never knew existed.
