Our DEIB Progress
A commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging isn’t sufficient without concerted action and demonstrable results. We’re proud to share the positive changes happening at Oregon State Lottery:
- Veterans: In 2024, 14.71% of new hires were veterans, a 6.13% increase from 2023.
- Gender Representation: The percentage of new hires identifying as female increased by 15.8%, raising our overall female staff representation from 38.48% to 39.64%.
- Generational Diversity: Our employee population under 50 grew by 4.37%, bringing new skillsets and life experiences to our workforce
- Diverse Representation: Employees of Color now represent 20.95% of our workforce.
- Fresh Perspectives: The number of employees with fewer than five years of tenure increased by 5.36%, infusing our team with new energy and ideas.
We recognize there’s more work to do and are committed to continuous improvement in diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging.
