Cape
Sebastian State Park, a spectacular coastal headland located
just south of Gold Beach, just got bigger.
Using Lottery dollars, the Oregon
Parks and Recreation Department was able to buy 258 acres
to add to this park, completing the Southern leg of the Oregon
Coast Trail and preserving a beautiful
stretch of Oregon’s coastline for public use.
There
is no fee to use the park, it’s open year round,
and it belongs to you.
This year, over $24 million in Lottery profits will go to
Oregon state parks. Lottery dollars also support education,
job creation, and watershed enhancement.
