This year's million dollar winner, Pam, had purchased her ticket at a Safeway in Dallas, but didn't know she had won for nearly a week after the drawing.
“I got off work this morning and remembered that I hadn’t checked my Raffle ticket,” said Pam. “So I went out to the car, got the ticket and went into the Safeway to have it checked. They scanned the ticket and told me it said I needed to go to Salem. I thought, ‘Oh, OK,’ but didn’t know how much I’d won. So they printed the winning Raffle numbers and then checked those with my ticket and then we all freaked out!”
The next Raffle will be on St. Patrick's Day in 2017. Tickets go on sale January 1, 2017.
