Schedule a Lottery Presentation

Request A SpeakerHave you ever wondered why the Oregon Lottery® was formed, or when it introduced Video LotterySM, or how profits are allocated? Are you curious about how the Lottery became a Powerball® state? If Lottery history and current events interests you, you can request a representative from the Lottery's Speakers Bureau to talk about these and other Lottery topics at your next meeting.

As part of our outreach efforts, the Lottery offers a multimedia presentation that explains many of the things people want to know about the Oregon Lottery. From the first ticket sold to the most recent monetary transfer to the state, the Lottery’s presentation offers an opportunity to debunk long-held myths and answer any questions you might have.

“We want Oregonians to understand the good things the Lottery is doing for Oregon and this presentation illustrates that and much more,” said Lottery Interim Director Larry Niswender. “We cover a wide variety of topics about the Lottery including history, games, and how Lottery dollars benefit the state.”
