Annual Report on Lottery's Goals & Accomplishments

An open letter from the Director of the Oregon Lottery®:

As Director of the Oregon State Lottery, it is my privilege to present the Lottery’s Annual Performance Measures Report for Fiscal Year 2011-12 which has been filed with the Department of Administrative Services.

Although the Lottery is not a mandatory reporter, the Lottery believes it is important to participate in this program in order to provide the citizens of Oregon with a concise understanding of the Oregon Lottery® and what it accomplishes each year.

In 2012, the Lottery celebrated 27 years of doing good things for Oregon. As you will see from the Report, the Lottery produced over $1.06 billion in sales. This resulted in vitally needed support for Oregon’s programs for public education, economic development, job creation, state parks, watershed enhancement, and salmon habitat restoration.

Despite the impact of the continuing economic downturn, the Lottery looks forward to continuing to build on our past performance and provide new and exciting games and prizes for our players.
